TEMPE, AZ — One person was killed and four others were taken to the hospital Friday after a crash on Loop 202 in Tempe.
Department of Public Safety spokesman Bart Graves said crews responded to the four-vehicle collision on eastbound Loop 202 at McClintock around 3 p.m.
Footage from the area showed the crash blocking three lanes of traffic as emergency crews worked to access the scene and transport the victims.
It is unclear at this time what led to the crash.
