QUEEN CREEK, AZ — A 3-year-old girl has died after being pulled from a backyard pool in Queen Creek Saturday.
MCSO deputies say they responded to a drowning call near Crismon and Ocotillo roads around 11:30 a.m.
Officials say the 3-year-old was transported to a nearby hospital where she later died from her injuries.
MCSO says the investigation is ongoing, but foul play does not appear to be involved.
