Adam Stevens woke up to hate Friday morning.

Stevens, a San Tan Valley resident running for an Arizona House seat as a Republican in District 16, found his porch, campaign sign and driveway spray painted with anti-Semitic messages, including a swastika.

"It's a wave of reactions, you go from confusion, anger, frustration, sadness, you kind of let it all sink in," Stevens told ABC15.

Stevens is running against fellow Republicans Kelly Townsend, Doug Coleman and John Fillmore. Cara Prior and Sharon Stinard are running on the Democratic side.

ABC15 reached out to officials, who have not yet provided further details on the case.
