Valley law enforcement agencies investigating six sexual assault cases since September

It's been a busy month for Valley law enforcement agencies, as investigators in several cities are working through a total of a half-dozen reported sexual assaults.

Since September there have been six attacks against women across the Valley. The crimes have occurred in Mesa, Avondale, Peoria, Scottsdale and Glendale. Four of the six remain unsolved.

On September 9th in Glendale, a woman was groped by a man. Police say the 20-year-old woman was grabbed from behind and touched inappropriately under her dress in the area of 59th Avenue and Beardsley Road.

On September 22nd, Scottsdale police arrested former MMA fighter Rodolfo Ramirez after they say he kidnapped and raped a woman multiple times on Saturday, September 17th. Authorities say Ramirez kidnapped the woman after her friend went to get the car after a night out in Old Town.

Glendale police say former Phoenix firefighter Jeffery Wilson sexually assaulted a woman under a bridge at gunpoint near Bethany Home Road and 91st Avenue on September 25th.

On September 26th Avondale police say a man attacked and assaulted a 17-year-old girl at Kimberly Park near Garden Lake Parkway and Lake Shore Drive at 11:30 p.m.

According to police, on September 29th a woman was hurt when a man tried to sexually assault her in a development where homes are under construction near 99th Avenue and Jomax Road.

Mesa police are looking for a man they say grabbed a woman her by the arm, took her inside her own home, and sexually assaulted her in a bedroom. This happened on October 3rd near Adobe and Lindsay roads.
