MESA, AZ — An undercover officer was involved in a crash in Mesa Wednesday afternoon.
The crash happened at Winterhaven and McKellips Road around 2 p.m.
Police say the crash happened while the officer was investigating a robbery.
A suspect involved fled the scene on foot and was located at McKellips and Lindsay roads according to police.
The suspect has since been taken into custody and the investigation is ongoing.
Police say that no one was seriously injured in the crash.
