MESA, AZ — One person has died and another was seriously hurt after a crash in Mesa on Saturday morning, according to police.
It happened near Val Vista Drive and Southern Avenue just before 7:30 a.m.
Police say two people were taken to a hospital where one person died, the other suffered life-threatening injuries.
There was damage to homes from bricks flying due to the crash, police said.
It is unclear what led to the crash.
The investigation remains under investigation.
