No one was injured after a mobile home fire in Mesa Saturday.

The Rural Metro Fire Department reported to a fire near University Drive and Loop 202 around 10 a.m. to one fully engulfed home with partial exposure to a nearby home.

Although no one was injured, firefighters did have to rescue Pumpkin, the cat, out of a nearby tree. Crews say it fled the house after it caught fire.

Crews believe the fire started in the backyard and say a hoarding type situation in the yard may have contributed to the extent of the flames. They say the main home that was fully engulfed is a total lost.

The cause is currently unknown.
