Mesa police arrest man suspected of four home invasions and attempted sexual assaults

MESA, AZ — Mesa police have arrested a man who is suspected to be involved in four different home invasion and attempted sexual assault incidents.

Police say the incidents involve female victims in apartment complexes between Dobson and Alma School roads and north of Southern Avenue in Mesa.

The man is suspected of pushing his way into the victims' apartments or entering through unsecured doors. He had also been reported as becoming violent in his attempt to commit sexual assault, police say.

Police said several days later that 18-year-old Darrus Love Bracewell was taken into custody in relation to the incidents.
