Officials are searching for the vehicle involved in a deadly hit and run in Mesa.
The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened around 1:30 a.m. on Thursday on Southern Avenue, west of Meridian Road.
According to MCSO, a white car hit a pedestrian and did not stop at the scene. The car possibly has passenger side damage due to the impact.
There were no witnesses at the scene, if you have any information contact MCSO.
The name of the victim has not been released.
The road was closed but has since reopened.
