Salad lovers have another hot spot to go "Mad" over.
Mad Greens opened a new location Wednesday on Val Vista Drive and Baseline Road at Dana Park in Mesa. According to the MAD Greens website, the company sources local ingredients straight from area farms, bakeries, and dairies.
The Boys and Girls Club Grant Woods Branch are collecting donations outside Wednesday. The company is also planning some upcoming school spirit nights with local schools.
This is the chain's fifth Arizona location. There is one in Phoenix, two in Scottsdale and one in Tempe. MAD Greens is in the process of looking for more locations in the Valley. The chain started in Colorado and has 15 locations there.
MAD Greens in Mesa is open everyday from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
