FD: 15 people displaced after Mesa house fire

Fifteen people, including two children have been displaced after a house fire in Mesa.

The fire happened around 1:45 a.m. on Tuesday at a house near Main Street and Country Club Drive.

According to Mesa fire officials, all of the residents were able to make it out safely.

Most of the residents are Vietnamese immigrants who are working in local businesses. Officials are investigating if the homeowner was renting out rooms as apartments.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. One person was detained for questioning but no arrests have been made.
