Nobody is hurt after a car crashes and erupts in flames Friday near Loop 202 and Elliot Road.

MESA, AZ — A fiery crash is under investigation in Mesa near Loop 202 and Elliot Road.

Officials with the Department of Public Safety say a crash involving a car was reported Friday morning at about 3:15.

The car possibly struck a pole before erupting in flames. The fire was caught on ADOT cameras and fire crews worked to put out the flames.

Nobody was reported hurt and DPS says the cause remains under investigation.
