GILBERT — A 40-year-old man was arrested Wednesday for inappropriately touching a 31-year-old developmentally disabled woman, according to Gilbert police.

The woman told a staff member at the day program center that she was touched inappropriately by Abram J. Grace, police say.

The staff notified Adult Protective Services and Gilbert PD. Grace was then arrested and booked into the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office jail.

It is unclear if Grace was an employee at the day program, but police do say the staff has been fully cooperating with the investigation.

Grace was charged with one count of sexual assault and one count of vulnerable adult abuse as a result of the inappropriate touching.
