Authorities say a "major" crash will keep a portion of Ray Road closed for some time.
Police and firefighters responded Monday afternoon to the intersection of Ray and Recker for a report of a two-vehicle crash.
Firefighters said both vehicles were heavily damaged, and at least one person needed to be extricated.
A total of four patients were taken to a nearby hospital, officials said. Their conditions were not immediately available.
First responders asked those that could to avoid the area, and said the intersection would be closed for an extended period of time. The area reopened to traffic just before 6:30 p.m.
