Authorities are investigating after human remains were found in the Southeast Valley.
According to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, detectives are excavating an area at a business in Sun Lakes near Arizona Avenue and Riggs Road.
Officials continued digging on Friday in a back area of Grand Materials and Supply. In a statement, a company spokesperson said it was working with the sheriff's office on the investigation.
Deputies said further details were not immediately available.
