State Rep's website hacked; sent people to porn

A state representative targeted by a malware hack, which sent visitors to his website to porn, says he's had to add extra protection to his website.

State Representative J.D. Mesnard says he was notified about the hack on Tuesday morning.

Mesnard says he confirmed his site jdmesnard.com was taken over and he immediately got in touch with his website hosting company to fix the problem.

Representative Mesnard was front and center for the chaos at the Capitol Monday, when angry protesters interrupted a hearing regarding last week's Presidential Preference Election issues.

He says he's not sure if his website hack and the election mess are directly connected.
