A missing hiker has been found safe north of Apache Junction.

The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office used land, air and water units to look for 45-year-old David Roberts,
Deputies say Roberts, went hiking in a "very remote" part of the county northeast of Apache Junction Monday morning. Authorities located his vehicle and started their search out from that point.
Relatives said he was supposed to meet another family member, but didn't show up.
Bloodhounds, a helicopter and lake were out looking for Roberts.
Deputies say Roberts is being treated for dehydration, but is expected to be okay.
