APACHE JUNCTION, AZ — A man was arrested Sunday after leading Pinal County Sheriff deputies in a short pursuit and crashing into a concrete wash near Apache Junction.
The Pinal County Sheriff's Office said deputies were helping Florence police locate a possible DUI/stolen vehicle suspect near US 60 and Ironwood Drive.
Sheriff officials said the man fled once he was found leading to a brief pursuit that ended with authorities disabling his vehicle. This caused the man's vehicle to crash into a concrete wash.
The man was arrested and turned back over to Florence police as he awaits charges.
