PHOENIX — Phoenix police are investigating the deadly shooting of a 22-year-old woman.
Officers were called to a home near 41st Avenue and Buckeye Road around 10 p.m. Monday in response to shots fired.
Police located a woman at the scene with a gunshot wound, and fire officials pronounced her dead.
The victim has only been identified as a 22-year-old woman.
Officials were not able to provide further information about the incident or any suspects, but say the investigation is ongoing.
