PHOENIX — Three people are hurt after a crash sent two vehicles into a wall.

The Phoenix Fire Department was called to the area of 48th Avenue and McDowell Road around 11:00 a.m. Sunday for a crash.

According to the Phoenix Police Department the driver of a truck was attempting to make a left turn onto 47th Avenue from McDowell when a white vehicle crashed into it.

The white vehicle was traveling west on McDowell.

The impact of the crash sent the truck into a wall from a nearby neighborhood.

A man and woman inside the truck were ejected and were taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to police.

A woman driver of the white vehicle was taken to a hospital with injuries that are said to be not life threatening.

Phoenix PD says speed does appear to be a factor in the crash, but the investigation remains ongoing.
