Two juveniles were taken into custody after officers located a teenage girl who had been shot inside a stolen car overnight.
Phoenix police responded to the area of 75th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road early Tuesday morning in response to a gunshot wound call. When they arrived, they found a 13-year-old girl who had been shot in the shoulder.
Initial reports suggest someone shot into the vehicle, hitting the girl. She was reportedly in the vehicle -- which had been reported stolen -- with five other people.
Two minors were reportedly taken into custody after the incident. Two others have yet to be located after fleeing from the car.
