PHOENIX — A six-year-old is in critical condition after being pulled from a Phoenix pool Monday afternoon.

The Phoenix Fire Department says the child was found in the pool of a home near 83rd Avenue and Camelback Road by family and CPR was started. It’s unclear how long the child was in the water before being pulled out.

The Glendale Fire Department also responded to the scene and assisted.

The boy was taken to Phoenix Children’s in critical condition but was breathing during transport.

It's unclear whether or not the pool has a fence around it.

Police are also investigating the incident.
