PHOENIX — Phoenix police are investigating a crash involving a teenage pedestrian in west Phoenix.
Officers say the 13-year-old girl was struck at the intersection of 75th Avenue and Osborn Road.
The teen reportedly stepped out into the road against the traffic signal when a pickup truck struck her. The driver, a 70-year-old man, remained at the scene and was not impaired at the time of the crash.
The victim was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and she remains in critical condition Tuesday.
Officials say there are no pending charges after the crash.
