Phoenix Police and Silent Witness are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who robbed a west Phoenix carniceria at gunpoint.

Authorities say on June 3 just after 4 p.m. a 27-year-old man entered the Super Carniceria near 75th Avenue and Indian School Road.

When inside, police say the man pulled out a black semi-automatic handgun and pointed it at the clerk and robbed the store. 

The man then left the store on foot. 

Police say the suspect is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 165 pounds. He has a shaved head and a tattoo of the Virgin Mary's face tattooed on the back of his neck which possibly extends down his back. 

The suspect also has a tattoo of "Maria" on the right side of his neck.
