Police give the all clear after 'suspicious' package found at Phoenix UPS store

Police are giving the all clear after a suspicious package was discovered at a UPS store. 

Authorities were called to the UPS location near 31st Avenue and Thomas Road around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

According to witnesses, the package contained items that looked similar to pipe bombs.

Less than an hour later, the evacuation was lifted and employees were allowed to re-enter the building.

Officials say after an investigation it was revealed that the package was harmless.

No additional information has been released.
