Police are trying to locate a suspect who shot and injured an 18-year-old man near 43th Avenue and Thomas Road early Saturday morning.
Police say the 18-year-old was found shot at the Thomas Square Apartment, and the suspect was said to be hiding somewhere in the complex. Police have canvassed the area but have not been able to locate the suspect.
The victim did sustain non-life threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Officers served a search warrant to enter a residence at the complex. Officials say they will continue searching the area in hopes of locating the suspect.
