Police are searching for the person who shot a man during a road rage incident in west Phoenix.

On June 1, police received reports of a male passenger in a white Honda Accord who was shot in the shoulder after a confrontation with a man driving a silver Chevy Trailblazer.

According to police, the Honda was going westbound on Interstate 10 from the Interstate 17 stack when the driver and passenger got into an altercation with an African-American man driving the silver SUV.

The suspect fired a handgun at the Honda and struck the passenger in the shoulder before he exited the Interstate near 35th Avenue.

The suspect is described as having a round face and bald head. He is believed to be about 35 years old and was driving a mid-2000s Chevy Trailblazer. No additional details were provided.
