Police ID suspect wanted for nail salon homicide

PHOENIX — Phoenix police are investigating after a shooting and robbery led to the death of a nail salon owner.

Police say 45-year-old Dung Tang was shot just after 9 a.m. at a salon near 51st Avenue and McDowell Road during a robbery on June 5. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition but has since died from his injuries.

An adult woman was also inside at the time but was not injured.

The suspect, Dwayne Jamerson, allegedly fled the scene before police arrived. He is described as an African American male, between 20 and 30 years old, possibly bald and between 5'9" and 6 feet tall. He was wearing a white t-shirt and dark pants or shorts during the robbery. A photo of Jamerson is in the player above.

Anyone with any information on the suspect's whereabouts is asked to call police immediately.
