The Phoenix Police Department is investigating a road rage shooting near 83rd Avenue and Indian School Road.
The incident happened Tuesday evening around 4:15 p.m.
Police say the 53-year-old male victim in the shooting was the passenger in a vehicle cut off by the suspect. The victim yelled something at the suspect, who then did a u-turn and fired a shot at the victim. The victim was hit in the leg and has non-life threatening injuries.
Police are still searching for the suspect, who fled the scene.
No vehicle or suspect description has been released.
