Authorities have identified the man killed in a shooting Friday night that also injured a relative.
Phoenix police said the man, 41-year-old Israel Espino-Sanchez, and his nephew were shot near 64th Avenue and Van Buren.
Espino-Sanchez was pronounced dead at the scene. The other victim, whose identity was not released, was hospitalized. He continues to recover, according to a Phoenix police spokesman.
Police said as many as four people drove off in a four-door sedan after the shooting and are considered suspects in the case.
The investigation remains ongoing, police said.
