PHOENIX — Two Phoenix police officers were taken to the hospital after a driver crashed into them late Sunday night.

The crash occurred near 45th Avenue and McDowell Road around 10:30 p.m.

ABC15 crews at the scene saw a police cruiser with side damage and a white pick-up truck that had rolled onto its roof.

According to information at the scene, the truck was headed eastbound on McDowell Road when it struck a crosswalk guardrail, sending the truck into the side of a westbound police vehicle.
