Police identify man killed in Phoenix shooting, no arrests made

PHOENIX - Police have identified a 22-year-old man shot and killed in Phoenix on Friday morning. 

According to the Phoenix Police Department, just before 6:30 a.m. officers responded to reports of a shooting near 67th Avenue and Thomas Road. 

Officers then located Juan Herrera suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. 

There is no information available on a possible motive or a suspect at this time.
