PHOENIX — Phoenix police are investigating a deadly shooting near 59th Avenue and McDowell Road.
Police responding to a shooting in the area just before 11 p.m. Sunday located a man with a gunshot wound.
Officials say the victim, 37-year-old Vincente Charles Garcia, was shot in the backyard of a home and he walked out to the street where he collapsed.
Fire officials took Garcia to the hospital where he died from his injuries.
Police did not provide a suspect description or what led to the shooting. They are asking for the public’s help in solving the homicide.
