PHOENIX — A man has died following a shooting in west Phoenix on Thursday night.
According to Phoenix police, the shooting happened near 43rd Avenue and Camelback Road around 9 p.m.
Phoenix fire officials say a man was shot and taken to the hospital in extremely critical condition. Police said the man, identified as 28-year-old Marvin Aguila, later died from his injuries.
Officers say an altercation led to the shooting between the man and the suspect.
There was no suspect information or description immediately available.
