PHOENIX — Police say a man is dead after a shooting near 28th Avenue and Palm Lane.
Officers were called to the area around 3:40 a.m. Monday for an attempted burglary call. When they arrived, they found a man who was pounding on the windows of a home.
The man was reportedly looking for help after suffering a gunshot wound to the chest. He reportedly died at the scene.
Police say the victim has been identified as 43-year-old Jason Robinson.
There is no suspect information available at this time.
