PHOENIX — Phoenix police are investigating a double shooting that left a 19-year-old man dead and his sister with serious injuries Wednesday evening.
Officers were called to a home near 67th Avenue and Van Buren Street around 6:20 p.m. for a shooting.
An 18-year-old woman and 19-year-old man were found inside the home with gunshot wounds. Both were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The 19-year-old man, identified as Michael Rhea, died at the hospital.
Detectives are still working to determine what happened. The investigation is ongoing.
