FD: 14-year-old suffers accidental gunshot wound to mouth in west Valley

TOLLESON - Phoenix Fire officials say a teenage boy suffered a gunshot wound to the mouth on Wednesday morning. 

Officials responded to a home near 91st Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road where the 14-year-old victim was found. 

According to Phoenix police, a 12-year-old (who lives at the home) accidentally shot the 14-year-old.

It's still unknown who the gun belongs to or how the teens got ahold of it.

The boy was transported to Phoenix Children's Hospital in stable condition.
