Police are asking for help in identifying two people possibly connected with a homicide investigation from this summer.

Officers responded around 10 p.m. on July 30 to a convenience store near 42nd Avenue and Camelback Road. Investigators say 50-year-old Ernie Solano was shot leaving the store, causing him to fall back inside. He was taken to the hospital where he later died.

Thursday, Phoenix police released surveillance video from the scene. Authorities said the pair shown in the video are believed to have been in the area during Solano's death and may have information that could help investigators.

Anyone who recognizes the people in the video or who has information relevant to the case is asked to call Silent Witness at (480) WITNESS. Those providing information that leads to an arrest could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
