The Phoenix Fire and Police departments are investigating a crash that left multiple people injured Saturday night.
Fire crews responded to reports of a car accident near 69th Avenue and Thomas Road around 7 p.m.
Based on preliminary information, multiple people are hospitalized with serious injuries, a police spokesperson said.
According to a fire spokesperson, up to four vehicles may have been involved in the accident.
It's unknown if impairment played a factor in the incident. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
