PHOENIX — A big “Thank You” to Taralee Williams.

May 6 is National Nurse Appreciation Day and she was gifted a 2005 Nissan Murano SL.

Community Tire Pros and NARPRO surprised Williams with the SUV after hearing her story.

She is a widowed mother of four and is part of a Valley nonprofit, Helping Hands For Single Moms.

She made the decision to become a nurse after her husband passed away.

She said she used to work in the hospital community in food service and always loved seeing the children smile as she brought them their food trays.

Williams is set to graduate from nursing school at Mesa Community College. She says it was difficult to go to class, study in her spare time, all while raising four “energetic” boys and perform household chores.

She thanks those close to her that supported her and encouraged her to continue through her journey.

The SUV was donated to Williams thanks to Community Tire customers, Leon and Renee Ellis.
