South Valley Prep and Arts school officials have issued a warning to parents after noticing social media activity of a threat to "shoot up" the school on Tuesday.
The school in a Monday Facebook post told parents, "If for any reason you do not feel good about sending your child to school tomorrow, you may keep them home."
When we reached out to Phoenix police Monday night after business hours, a spokesperson responded saying no information was immediately available.

Several other school threat incidents have concerned parents around the Valley within the last couple weeks:
- Two students were taken into custody after they set up a GoFundMe account to raise money for ammunition to "shoot up" Combs High School in San Tan Valley, according to the Pinal County Sheriff's Office.
A man was arrested after making an online threat toward South Pointe High School over the weekend.
Gilbert police are investigating a threat directed toward an elementary school.
Policewerecalled to Cactus Middle Schoolnear Kortsen Road and Pueblo Avenue after learning that a 14-year-old boy was allegedly threatening to "shoot up the school."
