Police are searching for a relative suspected of shooting a member of his own family.
Officers responded to the 300 block of Roeser Road, near Central and Broadway, around 12:50 p.m. Sunday.
First responders arrived to find a 28-year-old man with several gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital and is listed in critical but stable condition as of Sunday night.
Investigators believe the victim was shot by a male family member and are actively searching for him, according to Sgt. James Holmes.
No other information was immediately available, authorities said.
