Officials are investigating a homicide in Phoenix.
Phoenix police said the shooting happened at a motel-type property near 17th Avenue and Buckeye Road early Wednesday morning.
According to police, two people living in a room heard gunshots and went outside to see what happened. When they walked outside they found a man down on the ground.
Police were called to the scene and the man was pronounced dead. The man has not been identified.
No other information is known.
