PHOENIX — The Loop 202 South Mountain northbound is back open at Buckeye after an accident involving a semi truck and six vehicles. The Phoenix Fire Department says as many as eight people are being treated for injuries.

Firefighters say a two-year-old child and three adults were taken to the hospital. Four others were treated on scene for injuries but do not require hospitalization.
DPS officials say the semi driver was unable to stop for traffic congestion in the area and caused the five-vehicle collision.
