Police are looking for more information after a deadly crash that left a pedestrian dead in Phoenix Sunday night.
Police say just after 9 p.m., witnesses reportedly saw a woman lying in the middle of Broadway Road near 20th Street when she was hit by a car. The woman was pronounced dead on scene.
The driver stayed at the scene and impairment is not suspected.
Police say it's unclear why the victim was lying in the road before the collision and investigators are working to determine whether she was struck by a previous vehicle.
