POWER OUTAGES: Parker, Arizona dealing with downed power lines

Thousands of utility customers were without power around the Valley after monsoon storms moved through Sunday night.

Residents in Parker, Arizona are still dealing with outages after storms moved through their town as well.

APS says at the height of the storm, there were about 10,000 customers in the dark due to downed power lines across the Valley.

For residents in Parker, Red Cross cooling stations have been set up at the Blue Water Casino and Parker High School.
