PHOENIX — Phoenix police are investigating a double shooting near 67th Avenue and Apache Road Sunday.
Officials say at around 4 p.m. they responded to the scene and located a man and a woman who had been shot.
The two were transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
Information given to officers initially led them to a home nearby and where they say someone involved was suspected to be at the location, but was not located.
Officials say they are working to determine what led up to the shooting, but say it does not appear to be a random shooting and the suspect is known to the victims.
