One person is dead after an officer-involved shooting in north Phoenix.
The incident occurred near 35th Avenue and Deer Valley Road around 1 a.m. Wednesday. Officers reportedly located 35-year-old Andrew Collins, who they were attempting to locate on a felony warrant.
Collins fled on a bicycle and fired a shot at approaching officers. Officers shot back, killing the suspect.
The two police officers involved have 13 and 16 years of police service.
No officers were injured in the incident.
