Phoenix fire rescued a hiker on Camelback Mountain Tuesday afternoon, officials said.
Fire officials said the hiker, who is a woman in her 20's, suffered unknown injuries on the Cholla Trail shortly before 4 p.m. They were in the process of walking her down the trail, but opted to airlift her down via helicopter instead.
She is in stable condition and was evaluated at a nearby hospital.
