Authorities say four people have been taken to the hospital after a crash Wednesday afternoon that also caused a gas leak.
Captain Rob McDade, public information officer for Phoenix Fire Department, said four people have been taken to the hospital, two of whom were considered to have serious injuries.
Bell Road is closed from 20th Street to Cave Creek Road, he said. Click here to view current traffic conditions.
Pictures from Phoenix Fire showed a white passenger car flipped on its hood in front of IL Primo Pizza & Wings. A second passenger car had damage to its side and front end and was pushed up against the wall.
McDade said the leak had been secured.
No other details were released.
